!!! Happy Easter - Feliz Páscoa - Buona Pasqua !!!

Celebração tipicamente Cristã (hoje em dia), a Páscoa também é representada em outras tradições, como o Judaismo e o outras crenças. O costume de pintar e decorar ovos não é citado na Bíblia, e faz alusão a tradições milenares pagãs. Ishtar (Astarte) é a deusa da fertilidade e do renascimento nas mitologia anglo-saxã, nórdica e germânica. A primavera, as lebres e os ovos pintados com runas eram os símbolos da fertilidade e renovação a ela associados. A lebre (e não o coelho) era seu símbolo. Acreditava-se, também, que as sacerdotisas previam o futuro (Coelhinho da Páscoa, o que trazes pra mim?). Esses cultos antigos foram absorvidos pelas tradições judaica e cristã, dando origem à Pàscoa como conhecemos hoje.
Celebrar o Renascimento, a Primavera, a Fertilidade....Necessidades do homem desde sempre, não importa a sua crença. Mas, por via das dúvidas, Feliz Ostara!

The act of painting and decorate eggs dates back to the ancient Pagan traditions. Ishtar (or Astarte) is the Goddess of Fertility and Rebirth in the anglo-Saxon, Nordic and Germanic mythologies. The spring, the hare and the painted eggs where the symbols of fertility and renovation, associated to the Goddess. The hare (and not the rabbit) was her symbol. They also believed that the priestesses could tell the future. Those ancient cults were absorbed buy the other traditions, and gave birth to the Easter as we know today.
To celebrate the Rebirth, Spring and Fertility...Such a mankind necessity, and it doesn't matter you personal belief. But, just in case, Blessed Ostara!
