Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA and Jang Geun Suk recently headed over to Hokkaido, Japan to continue filming for their KBS drama, ‘Love Rain‘.
As Japan is considered the home of the Hallyu wave, it comes to no surprise that Japanese fans swarmed by the hundreds to follow the cast and crew around as they completed their location filming. No matter where the two turned up, fans and passerbys alike followed, stopping up streets and of course, confirming their ever rising popularity.
Despite the chaos that the crowd brought about to the film set, the two made sure to stop and thank everyone for their support and interest, creating a ‘fan meet-like’ atmosphere.
A representative stated, “No matter where Jang Geun Suk and YoonA went, people gathered to the point where we were all confused as to whether we were in Japan or Korea. People were really happy to see their surprise appearance and stuck by the set.”
Jang Geun Suk continued, “It was really cold, but I had a lot of fun. Everyone showed so much support that I was warmed by their kind hearts.”
