Super Junior’s Kang In Lost His Idol Charms?

Recently, photos of Super Junior’s Kang In were released on a local online community board. The photos titled, “Recent Photos of Kang In before Military Discharge,” shows Kang In in a different light compared to his pre-enlistment, idol star-like image.
Wearing a hoodie jacket and a hat, Kang In seems to have shed some weight through the rigorous military training process. However, his facial expression and overall image are in stark contrast to the clean-cut, idol star image he used to carry with him before joining the army.
Netizens who came across the photos commented, “At least he lost a lot of weight,” “He looks like an old man now,” “He used to be the best when Super Junior first debuted.”
Kang In has been involved in a number of controversies over the years, including a drunk driving and fighting incident in 2009. He joined the army the following year in July, 2010, and will be completing his mandatory two year service period on April 16, 2012.
