MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ preempted again due to on-going strike

Hit MBC variety program ‘We Got Married‘ has once again been preempted due to MBC‘s on-going strike.

A representative from MBC remarked, “Even though we utilize the material we have on hand as much as we can, it is impossible to run episodes on a regular basis, we will inevitably run out of material in a matter of a month.”

Since the strike began, MBC has been airing special episodes, re-runs, as well as the Chinese version of ‘We Got Married’, but the show started airing new episodes again on March 3rd.

But the on-going strike seems to know no end, and with no additional filming that can take place, they’re left with only a small amount of footage left.

In place of ‘We Got Married’ this week, MBC’s parent company MBC Music will be airing ‘Music and Lyrics‘ during the same time slot.

‘Music and Lyrics’ is a reality program that will feature famous actors and skilled composers who will be given 30 days to write their own song. Park Shin Hye and Yoon Gun will be the first couple to create their very own melody.
