Singer and actor Kim Won Joon has now become the man of Kang Hye Jung.

On March 22, the production crew of tvN’s new drama series Marriage Plot (written by Park Hyung Jin, directed by Lee Min Woo) said, “Kim is casted to play Park Soo Ho, who is the first love and ideal type of Kang Hye Jung.”

In the series, the character Park Soo Ho which Kim plays is a warm-hearted urban guy who always sides with and looks after Yoo Gun Hee (played by Kang Hye Jung).Also, he is Kang’s first love.

A fun, romantic story is expected as the career woman full of greed, Kang Hye Jung, becomes nuts about her ideal type Kim Won Joon. However, Kim has some “bad boy” instincts, as referred by staff.

Along with the news of Kim’s casting, his character cut was revealed. He shows an absolute young face compared to his actual age and a melting smile which flutters female fans’ hearts. The picture generates more curiosity about the series.

Kim says, “I’m honored to play the character which is Kang Hye Jung’s first love and ideal type. My character and I have a lot in common in real life. I’ll try my best in featuring a decent guy with gentle attitude, yet an iron hand in a velvet glove.”

Marriage Plot airs as a follow-up series to Shut Up! Flower Boy Band starting on April 2 at 11:00 p.m.
