Korean Drama Synopsis 'The Korean Peninsula'

Synopsis :

Taking setting at a time in the future. At that time South Korea relations and North Korea has developed. Both countries are working together to build the station for the development of methane hydrate off the coast of North Korea. Scientists Seo Myung-Joon (Hwang Jung-Min) of South Korea responsible for the project and work closely with scientists Lim Jin-Jae (Kim Jung-eun) from North Korea. Technicians and other researchers from both countries working under them in the research station.

During that time, North Korean leader Kim Tae Sung (Seo Tae Hwa) visited South Korea for the first time after becoming leader of North Korea. President of South Korea Kang Dae-Hyun (Lee Soon-Jae) and North Korean leader Kim Tae Sung watching a team of inter-Korean and Australian teams in the early rounds of the World Cup.Meanwhile, hardliners in North Korea, Jo Kook-Cheol (Jeong Seong-Mo) conducted a military operation while their leader was in South Korea. 

At the office development, the engineers and scientists work together in peace, but there is still tension. Jae-Jin Lim received orders to steal the core technology behind this operation. Dong-Ki Min (Kwak Hee-Sung) encouraged him to perform it, but Jin-Jae Lim was later not run it. 

Making this film started  last septermber 2011 and relesa in January 2012. Originally titled 'Hanbando' which means 'Korean Peninsula'.
