'The Moon Embracing The Sun' is a fantasy drama about the history (sageuk) with the background of the Joseon Dynasty. Prince Lee Hwon (Kim Soo Hyun) and his half-brother, Prince Yang Myung (Jung Il Woo) falls in love with the same girl, a shaman named Wol (Han Ga In). Wool, whose real name is Yeon Woo, is a princess crown from a wealthy family who became engaged to Prince Lee Hwon. Wool was framed and 'executed' by those who are jealous and afraid of beauty and intelligence.
