Super Junior says, “We will target the world market with ‘laugh.’ We are confident in our world tour”


Super Junior expressed their confidence in their world tour at a press interview for Super Show 4.
At a press interview for Super Show 4, which took place in the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park on November 20 at 3 pm, Super Junior said, “We’ve been to other countries for SM Town concerts many times, but this is a world tour that only Super Junior participate in. English is the global language but we want to approach to the world with laugh. Each member has their own performance in the concert, so we will be able to show enough of Super Junior’s charm.”
Super Junior interviewed with reporters in a pleasant atmosphere. To the question about the reasons for their popularity, they answered, “Because we are all cute?” and brightened up the atmosphere.
They explained, “We suppose that’s because people find something pleasant from Super Junior’s natural and friendly looks. We feel great responsibility for the concert, but at the same time, we feel like we can make great stage performances by encouraging and supporting each other.”
To the question about members who have greatly changed in this concert, everyone picked Ryeowook.
Ryeowook said, “I joined Super Show 4 right after musical Temptation of Wolves was finished. I worked out for a month and got six packs. I also prepared a lot for my personal performance. You can see me turning into Gollum.”
Super Junior also showed their confidence in the world tour by saying, “We suppose we can do this world tour because people from other countries have watched our videos on YouTube to sing and dance along with us. We haven’t been able to show enough of our charm yet because we had to compete in good faith and leave the stage after performing only a few songs in SM Town concerts; however, we will be able to this time.”
Super Junior’s concert will start from Seoul on November 19~20 to Osaka, Taiwan, Bangkok, Singapore, Beijing, Europe, and North America.
Super Show, Super Junior’s brand concert, began in 2008 and has been successful every year. About 500,000 audiences have watched the Super Show so far.
In this concert, diverse stage performances, using 20m LED screen, supersized moving stage, wires, cranes, and moving cars, are prepared to interact with the audience.
Super Junior is going to hold Super Show 4 in Seoul first and then move to the Kyocera Dome in Osaka for the next concerts on December 10 and 11.
