Google Plans To Create a Special Channel Kpop on YouTube

Korean music popularity around the world is no doubt. Evidently, with many Kpop concert which was held in the United States to Europe. On the YouTube site, Kpop music videos have even been seen by nearly 800 million times around the world during 2010.

It is also disturbing the largest search site Google. Google is reportedly planning to set up a special channel on YouTube Kpop music. The news comes from an article in the Wall Street Journal reported Google's interest in Kpop developments around the world, including in America.

Reported by Soompi, Tuesday (08/11/2011) Executive Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt has called a special meeting with South Korean President Lee Myung Bak as well as several Korean IT development company. The meeting was agenda specifically to discuss the plan of Kpop special channel on YouTube.

Development of the idea came directly from Eric who want to give a direct dedication to the development of Kpop music. While the Korean government's own party to thank Google and fully recognize the role of YouTube in Kpop music spread throughout the world.

Schmidt is scheduled to hold a formal press conference on Thursday (11.10.11) which will reveal a variety of business ventures behind the project.  Many People speculated that Goole would buy the popular search engine in Korea such as Daum and Never with a very large investment funds.
