"Help meh! I haz small eyes!" Make-up Tutorial

I know. I know. There is just so much clicking around going on, from the post to List of Materials and finally to here So many links! but I hope this will be worth it.
So, if you've read the list of materials, you already know all the things that you need, but because you're special they're going to be mentioned again plus pictures!!! (I wonder if there any copyright issues with this. It should be fine if I mention the company and give them all rights and claim no association and etc. etc. etc., right?)
Anyway, you're not here for that. Tutorial:

1. I have an oily face, so I always wash my face with warm water before putting on make-up. Remember, don't scrub your face dry just pat it dry with a damp towel.

2. Then, I rub on some concealer to cover up blemishes. I used Elizabeth Arden's tinted moisturizer 03. Winter is coming and the change in weather is making my skin dry, so it's nice to have a moisturizer that also works really well to cover up blemishes. (Other, more professional make-up artists would probably have you start with stuff like primer, but I don't have any of that stuff and I did say this was make-up for those like me, who DON'T own a lot of make-up.)

These are the three eyeliners from the Physicians Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio for Brown Eyes. They even have built in sharpeners!!

3. Then, taking the purple eyeliner from the Physicians Formula Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio for Brown eyes, I lined my upper lids and the bottom lashes. If your lids are like mine, then yes, I do know that no one will ever see the purple on the top lid, so don't spend too much time on it. Just run the purple eyeliner over the lid a couple times and you're done. Then for the bottom lid, start from the the middle and slowly bring it out. You want to just brush the eyeliner under your waterline (later we're going to put some white in there to make the eyes look a little bigger) and then push down a little harder as you get to the outer corner.
If you can see in the picture below, the eyeliner is thin in the middle and thicker towards the corners.

I know. Beautiful huh? I've got wrinkles from lack of sleep and I touched up the contour on my nose later (you can totally see that I didn't blend out the eye shadow at all).

4. Then, I took the brown eyeliner and filled in the space under my crease. Probably redundant, but the brown ONLY goes on the upper lid. Just in case anyone was wondering. And yes, I know: "What the hell? 'Under the crease'? We're single-lidded - no one will ever see it." For me, sometimes the wrinkle/crease moves a little, so I like to put the brown down there in case the crease shifts on me again. And it'll make the next step make a little more sense.

5. I know everyone's crease is shaped differently and are different sizes, but for me. I took the black eyeliner and made a bold line in the middle of my upper lid about 2-3 mm above where I colored in my lid with the brown eyeliner. Basically, about the size of 2 average-sized pencil leads. As I have said, I'm not too experienced, so the brown tells where the crease is, so if I draw anything above the brown, it will be noticeable when I open my eyes. And like what I did with the brown eyeliner, you want the line to be thinner towards the inside and make it thicker towards the outside.
Then, gently go over the purple eyeliner on the bottom. This is just the blend the purple and the black, so don't put too much on!!

6. Then, if you have lash curlers, curl your lashes before putting on mascara. For me, I used Revlon's Lash Fantasy Total Definition. It is great on my near non-existent lashes!

7. And you're pretty much done!!! As I've mentioned, this change in weather is making my skin dry, and that means my lips too! So I glossed up my lips with Clinique's long last glosswear SPF15. It's a little brighter/lighter than it shows up as in the picture, but it's a nice, bright pale pink and it basically just puts a little bit of shine and sparkle on the lips.

8. And that was done for me before I found out that I still had an hour to kill.
So I added a few more things to my look. I used Elizabeth Arden's eye shadow and cheekcolor set and the Maybelline New York ExpertWear Eyeshadow - 10S Vanilla.

Contouring the nose: For creating the image of more shadows on the edges of the nose, I took Elizabeth Arden's set and used the brown-ish color in the middle to outline my nose, and I used the lighter color on the left to blend it out. (People with more make-up probably have specific brushes to blend out the color, but I don't have a brush like that so this is my way of 'blending it out.') For the highlight in the middle of the nose, I used the white Maybelline eye shadow. (Look at a couple of contouring sites/videos to help find different ways of contouring and practice to find the best way for YOU to contour your nose.)
And here's a nice little site that tells you how to contour.
And I initially learned to contour my nose from bubzbeauty on YouTube. (I like watching her videos. I feel she does a lot of cute and pretty looks and she seems to like make-up but still understand that everyone is beautiful in their own special way and make-up is just used to enhance what you already have.)

9. After that I decided to touch up the eyes a little. Taking the same Maybelline eye shadow - 10S Vanilla, I carefully brushed some power along my waterline. Be careful doing this, you don't to get power in your eyes. Just take the little brush that comes with the eye shadow and gently rubbed the tip of it with powder and just line the waterline.

10. Finally, the grand finale before I tripped out the door because I totally forgot about the time and between playing around with my make-up and using the computer, it's almost time to go!
I took the clear, sparkly Eyeliner that came with the false lashes kit that I got for Halloween. They're only about $5 at the local RiteAid or CVS (I got mine at RiteAid.) Then I just traced over the black eyeliner and lined my upper lids and gently, I brushed some of the glitter on my upper lashes too.

Then I re-contoured my nose and went to a beautiful wedding. The end.
And the bride and groom, now husband and wife, lived happily ever after.

I will see if I can get a video up within the next week. I don't actually know how to edit a video, so it'll probably just be a continuous video. Hope it works out alright!!
Never did put a video because I don't know how to make videos so... Fail for me   -_-"
