The Frosting On The Cake

The turquoise collection....wouldn't these hats look so cute on the bridal party?!

Elegant 1960's beaded column gown, size 2 petite!

Breathtaking 1940's crepe wedding dress, size 4-6.

Whimsical 1940's feather head piece....

I can't resist the charms of this fabulous 40's felt hat with blushing feather sprouts and full face veil. Made by Draper in New York.

One part shriner Two parts glamor! This 1940's brown felt topper would be the life of the party.

Made by Cine-vogue in the 40's this super whimsical straw tilted topper is so cute I can hardly stand it.

Golden grograin ribbon band.

It's hard to find a good red hat these days that hasn't been snatched up by a certain society. Get it before it goes to a lady dressed in purple!

Fur hats and crocodile springolaters look awfully pretty together.

Nothing can account for the joy a great novelty print gives me.

Sexy sculptural 40's felt cocktail hat with rhinestone spirals....

Xtabay being torn apart again by me...

This dress gives great Pippa....

The hat gods keep smiling upon me and thanks to a certain wedding and popular TV show they seem to be making a HUGE resurgence.
I am so excited to see people wearing hats again. It seems fashion just stopped being fun the day people stopped wearing hats...It's as if someone decided that cakes were no longer going to be frosted. Sure they still tasted good, but they didn't look like anything special.
Hats are wearable sculptures. They say something about you. What better way to express your personality than an explosion of riotous color bursting from the top of your head?!  Feeling down? Then shade your eyes under a veiled brim and imbue your ennui with a little mystery. Go ahead, be dramatic.
Hat's make an outfit fun, and at Xtabay we have hats that could go head to head with any Philip Treacy
creation~and for a fraction of the price.

Do you see anything you just have to have? Don't fret! We ship all over the world. Email me at xtabayliz@gmail.com with questions about prices and availability. If you happen to be in Portland come in and visit us!
