Super Junior’s Taiwan concert is all sold out in just 17 minutes

SM Entertainment has announced on January 4 that Super Junior’sTaiwan concert as part of Super Show 4 was all sold out just in 17 minutes, the shortest record in Taiwan’s history.
The Taiwan concert of the Super Junior World Tour, Super Show 4, will be held at the Taipei Arena for three days from February 3 to 5. The advance sale for the tickets was conducted for two days on December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2012. As soon as the ticket sale was opened, all the 30,000 tickets were all sold out.
The first day sale for the third-day concert was sold out just in 30 minutes, while the second day sale for the first-day and second-day concerts just in 17 minutes. They are the least amount of time for advance ticket sales in Taiwan’s history.
The ticket sale record by Super Junior has been a subject of inordinate fascination for the local press, capturing headlines of major mass media: “Super Junior’s next month Taiwan concert all sold out in just 17 minutes!” “Super Junior concert’s uprising: tickets for the concerts all disappeared in just a few second.”
SM Entertainment says, “With the ticket sale completed, there has still been a deluge of Taiwan fans’ requests for additional ticket sales. To satisfy fans’ strong demands for tickets, we decided to add one more concert on January 2. At a result, the Super Show 4 Taiwan Concert will be held for four days from February 2 to 5, attracting 40,000 Taiwan fans in total.”
