Dream Star Cover Coming!! (Hopefully)

Working on making an English cover of The Generous's song "Dream Star," which was the opening theme song for the AMAZING anime "Skip Beat," because I didn't like the grammar in their English version. I took some lyrics from the English version, some from the Japanese to English translation and some of my own words. I think it's going well so far. I have to work on the timing though. I'm a bit off, but I should have it done soon so I can post it!

Here are the lyrics that I have for the cover so far; it's a work in process and there are still a couple lines I want to change, but... this is how it is so far. A lot of the lyrics are from The Generous's English version, but I put the words/phrases that I had changed in bold:

SIDE NOTE : I've started to watch the Taiwanese Drama, "Skip Beat," and I'm not sure if I love it. I absolutely love the anime, because Kyoko was a pretty strong character and I could kind of relate. I grew up working at / being the mascot of / helping out at the family restaurant, so I know how to do all the girly household work: cooking, cleaning, washing, etc. However, I'm also quite a bit of a tomboy. I've never played RPG's or Dungeons and Dragons or LARP-ed (I know deprived, right?) but I'm drawn to them! I love video games (but I don't have a game console) and I LOVE sports (but I suck at most of them). I take Tae Kwon Do and I've been taking it since I was... 9 years old (?) It was fun and I love it. I don't know... something about beating people up and getting beat up... (I'm so weird.) Anyway, I really can't hate the actress, since she's doing a pretty awesome job portraying Kyoko. However, I do HATE the person in charge of deciding haircuts, because Kyoko's haircut is all cute and it's like the short bob that housewives wear or something. It's suppose to this edgy pixie-cut and it's supposed to be (AT LEAST) red-ish, if not straight up RED.

SIDE NOTE 2 : I'm also working on making two English covers of SISTAR18's "Ma Boy." One version will have basically the same meaning as the original, but the other version totally diverges from the original translation. The second is more about how the girl is fed up with the guy and she's going to break up with him and he will no longer be "ma boy." I will post the lyrics when I'm actually done writing them.
I also really want to write a cover for SNSD's "Into the new world" and 2NE1's "Lonely," but I don't know if I will. I'm going to finish what I have going on now and then think about it.
I have school starting up again in a few weeks!! AHHHH!!!!
