Help meh! I haz small eyes!

So I was invited to the wedding of the granddaughter of an old woman that I usually visit about once a week to do housework or yard work for, depending on the day and the weather. I have met the granddaughter once before. She's a few years older than I am. She's very pretty, but at the same time she's also very tomboy-like, athletic and healthy. She's basically the type of person I've always wanted to grow up to be, except for the part where she's also a part of the marines. I could never do that. But other than that, she's a real-life example of my ideal role model. She's doesn't even have that much of a girly-girl side to her! Sure, she admits she flirts and does all the normal girl stuff, but she doesn't overdo it. I like that about her.
Anyway, since I have basically, in a very roundabout way, told you that I'm not a very girly-girl person, yet I'm heading to a wedding on about 2 hours and unlike when I went to my aunt and uncle's wedding, I don't have someone else to do my make-up and hair for me!! YIKES!!! And most of the make-up tutorials that I have watched in the past were all mainly for double eyelid people and don't look that good on my single eyelids. DOUBLE YIKES!!! And obviously, I want to make a good impression.
What do I do? I google "make-up single eyelids" and watched maybe 3 videos, but they were mostly dramatic eye make-up, complete with multi-colored eye shadows, none of which my eye shadows matched - I don't have that much eye shadow. Most of the powder I have is all blush. Eye shadow? I only have black, white, pink and brown. I know wonderful palette, isn't it? I am just overflowing with color choices! *sarcasm BTW*
So in the end I just mixed some of the tips from the videos with my own experience and eye. (Lucky for me, I have a decently artistic eye.) I didn't think to take pictures but I can do a before and after, since I've got some old photos of me au natural.
