Im Yoon A (born May 30, 1990), commonly known by the stage name Yoona, a singer, actor, dancer and model in Korea. Yoona debut as a singer on August 5, 2007 along with the girl group Girls' Generation. Besides, Yoona also appeared first as an actor over TV 9 Ends 2 Outs 2007. Currently, she is one of nine members of the girl group Girls' Generation.

In 2002, age 13, she joined SM Entertainment after being selected by the search Saturday Open Casting Audition. Yoona was trained in acting, singing and dancing. During training, she appeared in several music videos of SM artists.

Acting

Yoona debut as an actor through supporting roles in dramas 9 Ends 2 Outs in in 2007. By 2008, she appeared as a guest in the TV movie Woman of Matchless Beauty before his first starring role in the daily drama You Are My Destiny.
